I will need to mark May 28, 2010 as a wonderful day in life!!!
Let's first begin with . . . Good Bye Obese Megan. . . HELLO OVERWEIGHT MEGAN!
I rocked Weigh in! I pulled off losing 3.4, which put me at 184.2!! (Since I'm 5'6 185 is considered Overweight) I jump on the scale, the leader asks how my week was.... The only thing that came out of my mouth was good. . I might cry when the final number shows up! My eyes got all watered, she freaked out that I had lost 78 pounds, asking if I had before pictures in my wallet! I got my 75 pound charm for my keychain. I've been glowing ever since!!
I trot myself in feeling the best feeling I've ever had! I was at the point that NO one could possibly even make my day bad!
Then around 2 this afternoon. . . I was offered a FULL TIME JOB! I start Tuesday!!

*Throws confetti*
Well, I honestly never thought this day would ever come!! I'm off to my weight watchers official weigh in. But by my Mommy's scale. . (drum roll). . I'm BMI says I'm no longer OBESE! I am only 30 pounds away from my goal weight, and only 20 pounds away from being able to work for Weight Watchers!
The last few months have been rough for me, ups and downs! I'm so Happy for this!
(I might cry at weigh in)

Let's first start out with me informing you all that. . . I will become a Mrs. in a mere 27 days! I can't believe it! It honesty feels like we just got engaged, it so does not feel like a year and a half has come and gone! Although everyone has told me that wedding plan stressed them out so much. I haven't stressed a bit. It still hasn't hit me that I am getting married either. Although I'm pretty sure it will hit me when we go to get our Marriage license in a couple weeks! I also had what I thought was my final dress fitting this week! (Remind you this was dress fitting #4) The dress finally fits, the thing is the bottom of the corset is touching, but it still looks good. So ideally my alterations lady wanted me to stay the same weight, or gaining just a few pounds. Although I went ahead made another appointment for June 8, to see if she needs to take my inseams in again!
Well I did have our bridesmaid weekend with my ladies last weekend! I had a blast! It was great to just be with the bridesmaid and have a get away for us!
We did go to the Wax Museum! Of course we had to buy this picture! It's PRICELESS! All my girls minus Annie!
While away we did find Johnny Depp! Oh how I have loved him my whole life growing up! He so stole my heart when I was at the prime age of 5 when Edwards Scissorhands was playing on cable!
Of course I informed you all how EXCITED I was for Osceola Cheese! Heck Yes my Momma stopped and got me my favorite shoestring string cheese! Yumm (Yes I was intoxicated)
Well I know Julia knows I make jokes about shirts with itty bitty pockets! (Although I'm overly obessed with them! I love them) I joke that you put VERY import things in the pocket! So of course I had to keep my cheese in my pocket! After a drunken weekend we now call them VIP (Very Important Pocket) shirts!
My lovely Momma! I sure do love her! She was such a great sport! She joined in circle of death!
And my other Momma! Of course I come from a super close family! This is my beautiful Aunt Nancy! Or as she would say Favorite Aunt Nancy! She was too an awesome sport joining in circle of death!
Looks like the good ole Maid of Honor was a party pooper on our way home! (She got sick on Saturday with some stomach bug, so we let it sly)
My little Miss Annie!
That's the little girl I basically raised! This is the same little girl that would give me Mother's day cards, or I would get calls from her Mom to tell me she's not listening to her because she would say that she would only listen to Megan. She's graduating! Such a scary thought! She's the baby. We had her graduation party this weekend, I held up pretty well! Although I know at her actually graduation Thursday I will cry like a baby!
I guess you all wanna know about my WWers. With this crazy week. I was slightly nervous of weigh in. I of course blew off tracking, which really is nothing new for me. And I was trying to actually gain a little so I wouldn't have the stress of my dress being taken in again (my alterations lady has a wedding the same week as mine, so she won't be in town the week of my wedding for last minute tweeks) I hop on the scale and I lose 2.4. My jaw dropped. I was in shock! How is it when I try to gain a little, I pull the biggest number I've seen in MONTHS! So after that loss, I figured it's officially. Tracking isn't for me, I always seem to pull bigger numbers when I don't track. (My logic of why, is I kinda think I end up in my head doing my own version of Wendie plan) On the plus side, I weighed in at 187! Once I hit 185 I will no longer be considered OBESE! Someone better show up with confetti poppers and cake when I see the lovely numbers of 1-8-5!
Well ladies, I think that's all I have to share! I will probably end up posting again on Sunday. When I have nothing going on!

Welp
So I made a post a few days ago about how I had found a wonderful dress at White House Black Market... (Or as I would tell Jess White Barn) I didn't know if I would like it or not.
Well today I went in and tried on the dress..... I LOVE it, the only problem is the price tag. Online is says $158. Which to be honest, if it wasn't all white I probably would pay that for the dress. I am thinking of a dress for the rehearsal dinner. But I really couldn't wear a white dress again. It's not like a I could wear it to someone's wedding. (The bride might kill me. . . ) Even more that I adore this dress is the pattern in the dress is demask.... Which is our wedding. Ugh. Although I could always wear the black and white (bottom picture) polk a dot dress at the rehearsal dinner too. Since Black white and pink are our colors! And I already own that dress
Who knows! I'll have to ponder, maybe talk to Daddy-o

Who would of thought
So I've been hearing a lot about Banana ice cream. At this time a year I'm basically an ice cream junkie. I just can't get enough! So I gave it a spin . . .
2. Throw the frozen banana slices in the food processor until smooth! (Add whatever you want at this time)
Tada!!
So I made this at Mom and Dad's, I offered a taste up to my Dad.... That was the end of that bowl! I love that I feel like I'm getting my fix of ice cream and at the same time getting a fruit serving! HEAVEN!
Enjoy my fellow lovers!

Are you kidding me
So I was all excited to weigh in! So I weigh in today, and there was a sub leader. . . I ALWAYS weigh in on the middle scale. It's my thing, my leader laughs that I will wait for that scale.
So today the Sub leader wouldn't let me weigh in on the middle scale. So I went to a different one. It says I only lost a pounds. (my scale at home said 2!)
Are you FUCKING kidding. . . That's all that went through my head.
Needless to say I didn't stay for the meeting. I was pissed. I so wanted to stop at the Sonic across the street for breakfast. Although I did make it home and 4 point breakfast sandwich.
I'm still extremely upset.

Cheddar-Stuffed Buffalo Burgers
So My Aunt got me this new cookbook! So today I started using it! 500 recipes! I was sooo excited! I don't have to stay with our regular house staples!!
So today I made . . .
Cheddar-Stuffed Buffalo Burgers
(although I didn't have ground buffalo so I used lean beef)
Makes 4 Servings
1 pound of ground buffalo meat (I used ground beef)
1 small vidalia or other sweet onion, finely chopped (about 1/4 cup)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
4 English muffins (I used sandwich thins)
4 romaine lettuce leaves, trimmed
4 tomato slices
1. In a medium bowl, combine the buffalo, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; mix well to combine. Divide and shape the mixture into 4 balls. With your finger make a deep indentation into each ball. Fill each hole with 2 tablespoons of the cheese. Pinch the meat closed to cover the cheese and shape each ball into a 3/4 inch-thick patty.
2. Toast the English Muffin. Spray a nonstick skillet with nonstick spray and heat over medium-high heat. Cook burgers 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
3. Place the english muffins bottoms on 4 plates, top each with 1 lettuce leaf, 1 tomato slice, and a burger. Place the muffin top on each burger.
The book says 6 points if you do exactly what as the recipe says! I always tweak recipes!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My changes. . . I first made my burgers in the George Forman Grill! On my Sandwich thin I sprayed some EVOO (GHG) and sprinkled some garlic on it and threw it in the toaster oven to toast it! On top of lettuce and tomatoes; I also added avocado, pickles, ketchup, and mustard!
On another note I've been craving a hearty cheese burger! This was amazing! Really hit the spot!!!
Enjoy!! I am searching the rest of the 499 recipes!!!
